Chapter 13
It took three days for Tripp and Fey to establish the pattern of comings and goings at the house. When the group met the third evening, Fey handed Dirk the schedule she’d written up, explaining it at the same time.
“The old man and his kids, a girl and a guy, are out of there by eight-thirty. The mom leaves at nine. She carries a purse and a briefcase so we’re figuring she works, too.”
“Maybe she shows houses, since her old man is a Realtor,” Tripp put in.
“Possible,” Dirk agreed.
“The second day a car pulled into the driveway at ten. Two women got out, carrying cleaning supplies. They were inside for a couple of hours then left. Today two men came by to mow the lawn and mess with the flowers.”
“That was in the afternoon,” Tripp added.
