Chapter Six: Falling?

Pagkatapos ko mag bihis ng uniform ay dinouble check ko kung kumpleto na ba ang gamit na dadalhin ko sa university bago bumaba.

Pagkababa ko ay nag paalam na ako kay Ate Cecillia, Ate Sita, at kay Dad sa cctv. He is always watching me whenever it's time for me to go to school kaya I'm sure na pinapanood niya ako ngayon.

Pagkalabas ko nakita ko agad si Sage sa mini garden ko na naka sandal sa mailbox ko.

"Hey, let's go na," saad ko at nauna nang nag lakad.

Sinabayan niya ang lakad ko. "You won't bringing your bike?" He asked.

"Obvious naman diba, and besides, mag lalakad tayo mamaya gusto mo bang bitbit na naman yung bike habang nag lalakad pauwi?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Oh so... sabay tayo mamaya uuwi?" Tanong niya ulit.

"What do you think," saad ko at inirapan siya.

"Sasabayan mo ako," he said and then chuckled.

"Yes, I told you yesterday na sasamahan kita hanggang sa magkaroon ka na ng kaibigan diba?" Saad ko.

"Sus, gusto mo lang ako kasabay e," he said then chuckled.

"Dami mong satsat, di na lang mag pasalamat e," saad ko.

"Oh right. Thank you by the way," he said.

"For the food earlier?" Taka kong tanong.

"Yes and no," he chuckled. "Yes, of course I appreciated it, and No because I wasn't thanking you earlier because of the food,"

Taka ko siyang tinignan. "Edi ano?"

"Thank you because you are here with me today," he said almost making me blush.

"Kiddo, don't blush. I don't mean it in a romantic way, it's a friendly thank you," he scolded me.

"Wala naman akong sinabi that you meant it on a romantic way," I frowned my eyebrows.

"But you are blushing, I don't want to make a kid fall in love with me," he said.

"I thought we are out of the 'kid' phase, oh my gosh, you are being annoying again," I groan and binilisan na mag lakad.

"Hey kid, that's my nickname for you since yesterday and for forever, I know you're just avoiding the fact that you're blushing," he teased then laughed habang sinusundan ako.

"Oh okay, sorry for assuming really fast," I give him a fake smile and thumbs up. That's embarrassing.

I heard him laughed more loudly and still doesn't drop the topic.

When he changed the topic na, I didn't talk the whole time kahit nag sasalita siya. Well hindi naman rude yung ginawa ko kasi yung mga salita niya hindi na kailangan ng response, like he is just giving me a fun fact.

Nang makarating kami sa university, pinagtitinginan kami ng ibang mga estudyante, mostly of them is our classmate in other sub.

Some of them too is yung naka kita sa amin sa cafe kahapon. My gosh my reputation are ruined now.

'I saw them yesterday in the cafe maybe they are dating'

'They just met yesterday, I didn't know that Phoebe is easy to get'

'They look cute tho'

'I have a crush on that guy on the first day, I can't blame Phoebe for being an easy to get'

"The heck, what do y'all mean by easy to get, baka naman matagal na silang magkakilala, they look cute together oh"

Ilan lang yan sa narinig ko, I'm not sure if Sage is hearing this too because he don't look bothered at all.

Nang makarating kami sa classroom ay mag katabi na naman kaming dalawa.

"Paano kaya kapag mayroon ka ng circle of friends dito, they'll think na nag break na tayo," saad ko sa kaniya pagkaupo niya.

"Why? Did they think we are dating?" he said curiously.

"You didn't heard them earlier? We are the hot topic on the morning Sage" I said then he chuckled.

"Mas magkakaroon pa tayo nang issue kapag nakita nila tayo rito pag pasok nila" saad niya habang naka sandal sa upuan.

"Uh why?" Takang tanong ko.

"Well, we are 15 minutes early, if someone see us here alone they'll think we are making out the whole time" he said that makes sense.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe for the first time I'm going to tell you that you are right, tara let's go to the cafeteria," aya ko sa kaniya.

Iniwan na namin ang gamit namin at lumabas na. Dumiretso kami agad sa cafeteria. Puwede namang kumain at uminom sa class ni Mr. Fernandez kaya bumili kami ng makakain namin.

"Ako na ang oorder, what's yours?" Tanong niya.

"It's my first time here kaya doon ako pipili," saad ko, I'm always in the rooftop and I bring my own food kaya I don't know what they sell here.

Nag punta na kami sa counter and we just bought ice coffee and some snacks. We didn't bought any meal with rice because kumain na kami sa bahay bago pumasok.

"Tara na, may tao naman na siguro sa room," saad ko at nauna nang maglakad at sinabayan naman niya ako.

"Buti hindi ka nabobored nung wala pa ako, your life seems dull," saad niya.

"I want it that way, what did you expect when I told you that I want the opposite as my Kuya." I chuckled.

He nod. "Paano kaya if I made some frinds, edi lonely girl ka na naman," pang aasar niya.

"I'm not lonely, well technically I'm alone but hindi ko ramdam. Ganito kasi yan, I received a lot of loves from my parents so even if I am physically alone, I am mentally full of people around me. Well being alone is the only time I can do whatever I want. I want to read and I cant do that if there are many people around me." I said and he just listened.

Nang makarating kami ay sabay kaming pumasok sa loob and I'm sure na nagulat si Sir Fernandez dahil late ako and I have someone with me.

"Wow, I thought I'll retired while you are having your boring lifestyle Miss, you may seat now." He said and I can feel Sage laughing in the inside.

"Is he saying that I'm the paint on your boring life?" He said, full on himself.

Bakit pa kasi kailangang sabihin yun habang nandito siya e.

We listen to class and nag papagalingan kaming dalawa ni Sage and tuwang tuwa si Mr. Fernandez dahil naka hanap daw ako ng katapat ko.

That became our cycle in every subject, everybody says that they are jealous on me because I have that kind of boyfriend but we both deny it, because it's either nakakadiri pakinggan or it's impossible to happen.

Nang mag uwian na, sabay ulit kaming dalawa at dumaan sa cafe, but this time we ate there kasi there's a seat at umuwi lang kami nang mag gagabi na.

Everyday, I can say to my self that I spent my day well, but this time, I think I'm lying all the time. This is the definition of I spent my day well.
