My head feels fuzzy as I try to open my heavy eyelids. The throbbing in my left shoulder has me pausing in my struggles with my binds at my wrists behind my back as I turn on my chair and gasp when I see Gigi slumped over in a chair across from me. I hear a commotion on the other side of the door to the room we are being held in and feign being unconscious when the voices grow louder and the door swings open.
"I'm telling you we need to send people to get her! You can't just leave my sister with those people to be tortured or killed! Not after everything my family has done for you!"
