"Delgado! They called him Mr Delgado!"
I look on as my father's face contorts from confusion and shock into fierce rage. He lunges at the rogue and holds him at the neck as his canines stretch out towards the young man's horror stricken face.
"Do not spew lies here! Are you certain that was the name you heard them say?!" the rogue's eyes widen as he nodded his head repeatedly. My father throws him to the side and approaches the other rogue who was trembling on the ground as he looked at his friend lying motionless a short distance away.
Seeing my father approach him, the shaking man skirted away on the earthen floor but doesn't reach far when Savannah rushes ahead of my father to grab the boy at the front of his shirt and growl menacingly down at him.
