I inhaled deeply as if I were out of breath, sitting up quickly trying to fill my lungs with air. I held my chest with one hand trying to calm myself. As I calmed down, my chest began to rise and fall slower. I breathed steadier, my senses filling with cinnamon and spiced apple, but Ajax was nowhere to be seen. I quickly scanned my surroundings, taking in the sight of the room. I appeared to be in some kind of infirmary. All the furniture was pushed to the edges of the room. I heard a low groan from across the room and a chair began shuffling forward by itself. I quickly clambered out of bed ready to attack.
