I stormed through the halls and back into Ajax's room, trying to clear my head. It felt like my whole world was unraveling.
"Maybe this isn't a terrible idea, Rory. You could finally unite our realms." Sapphire purred into my mind, trying to soothe me.
"How do you always see the brightest side to every situation?" I questioned her.
"I have a lot more patience than you. It's what balances us. You need to calm down, Rory. Think of the baby. You mustn't stress." She cooed calmly through my mind. I gave a low sigh, she was right. I can't get too worked up anymore. I walked over to the sofa to sit down and gather my thoughts.
