We opened the castle doors together and began walking through the town hand in hand. People looked at us in astonishment, some women watched with envy burning bright in their eyes, Sapphire growled at them in my mind. Men stared in awe of me, causing Ajax to wrap his arm around my waist possessively. It felt good to be out in the open unashamed of our bond. I felt free, peaceful and happy. Before long, a crown began to gather around us.
