Aurora's heart raced with fear as she and Zeribe found themselves surrounded by unseen assailants in the dense forest.
“Zeribe.” Aurora called out to him scared. “Please tell me these wolves are from your pack.”
“Stay behind me.” He replied her instead doing his best to stand in front of her so he could shield her.
What he just said made Aurora realize that these wolves in front of them were certainly not from Sebastian’s pack.
And if they were not from there, what pack could they have come from?
It certainly couldn’t be her own pack because why would they choose to attack her?
