22 COLIN I tried not to be anxious for my lunch with Elise, but I was worried. She was either going to explain and things would go back to normal, whatever that was, or she was going to tell me she couldn’t do this and we would be done. I was pretty sure it was going to be the second one. I got there a little early and didn’t see her. I found a table toward the back of the small restaurant and told the server I was meeting someone.
