71: A moment of ignorance

Ria's POV. I blinked my eyes open as the sun peering from the window seemed to sprinkle its rays all over my face, almost burning my retinas. With a lifted arm used as a shield, I blocked out the rays and then tossed myself to the other side of the bed to best get on with my sleep. If I didn't get the opportunity to sleep as at the time I did, it would be different but then, although it was late, however, I still managed to get some sleep. Strangely enough, it seemed like I didn't even do as much as close my eyes even for a minute because the exhaustion had settled like intruders in my bones and so, all I wanted was just to get some more sleep.
