“What!” — Anna gasped, her hands flying to cover her mouth as her eyes widened in shock.
Of course, I was expecting that response from her. Who would have thought? Her fragile mind wouldn't have conceived that Ava would decide to take things that extreme. Besides, who would have believed that she could do such a thing? Well, I guess if Anna wasn't my friend and if it just so happened that I was telling this to someone else, they would have thought that I was just trying to make up a story in order to paint Ava black.
