Ria's POV.
Seconds, no, scrap that! Minutes after alpha Zade announced that we were through to the next round, I still found myself staring but not seeing as my hands covered my mouth while my eyes held a flash of surprise. If anything, I'd learned that he really had a way of toying with people's emotions because why couldn't he have just called out those who made it to the next round rather than choosing to do it the way he did and putting us all at the edge of the cliff?
It was our fate and I don't think there was any need to make us go through that emotional stress just to tell us about our fate. Nonetheless, my words might seem to criticize his actions but the manner in which he approached the situation was stunning, and I felt every emotion ripple through the nerves in my body.
