Ria's POV.
Sitting on the chair provided for him at the head of the hall, the hall suddenly became silent as a graveyard as if he sat on the voices of the crowd. It was very much expected, but I didn't know why I was surprised. Perhaps, because I wasn't expecting him to gain entrance into the hall at that moment even though I wanted the competition to kick off immediately. As Zade settled into the seat, he swept his eyes all over the place as if searching for something or someone in particular. My guess? He was searching for me. Since Dan wasn't able to get to me earlier, perhaps he wanted to be certain that I was still around and participating in the competition.
