I swallowed the lump that seemed to rise in my throat as I stared at her with a knowing look which was rather mistake on my part. Nonetheless, she stared at me sharply causing her eyes to pierce into my soul and at the same time, causing all the nerves in my body to shrink. I stood there, rooted to the spot as I scoured my mind for the best word to say in order to save myself from the situation because it seemed like I was all alone in it. Even though I tried to leave on time knowing that she could show up any moment, Zade wouldn't just let me.
