Logan watched as Max rounded up Pierce and his men. They were placed in handcuffs and all hooked together in a chain. If one ran, they would take down the whole group.
Pierce looked indignant, and his mem looked like they wanted to kill Pierce. After all, they only followed their Alpha's crazy plan. Many of the men's wives protested as their husbands were led away. Some cried, and some yelled out loud.
"Saffron, we must stay here in order to sort this. I can not leave, and I am unwilling to send you home without me. I am sorry. I know this place holds horrible memories for you, and you must want to go home." He said to her.
" Home is wherever you are, Logan," she said softly. He kissed her forehead again and then started barking orders, all the while never setting her down.
