Saffron laid quietly on the couch after Pierce and his conquest left. She kept trying to reach Logan, thinking only of him, clearing her mind.
"Logan," she thought. " Please save me logan."
Logan was asleep against the tree when he was awakened by Saffron's sweet voice. Just a whisper inside his head.
"Logan," was all he could make out. She was trying to mind link him.
"Saffron," he responded. "Baby, are you ok?" He was disheartened when no reply came. Her ability to mind link was so novice and weak that a simple word was all she could muster through the link.
Saffron tried for hours to link Logan. She never heard any response. All she could do was hope he heard her. She curled up on the couch and tried to get some sleep.
