FORTY-ONE Her girls were sitting on the bed when she came out of the closet in a fluffy hotel robe. “What happened?” Jane asked, rushing over to pull her into a hug. “Oh, honey.” “Nothing, it’s fine,” Roxie said, glancing around. “Do you know where my purse is?” From behind her, Toria raised it over her head. Roxie left Jane intending to get it, but Toria yanked it away at the last second. “Did you screw him?” “Who are we talking about now?” Roxie asked, going around Toria to snatch her purse. “The dude.
