Is it Fate? Part 1

After 2 years at school, Savanna required another wrist surgery. Seeing thos as a sign, plus very poor grades from all the partying she had done, Savanna withdrew from university. She returned home, had the surgery and got a full time job.

Savanna was working with a guy from school who she'd had a crush on. Mitchell Gardner was a tall guy standing 6'5", sandy-blonde hair, green eyes, toned but skinny, wears glasses, and very country. He grew up on a farm with his grandparents.

Mitchell talking to her and they planned a date for Friday night. As Savanna was getting ready her dad collapsed in the living room.

After calling for emergency response and going to the hospital and discovering that Lawson had a massive stroke, Savanna called Mitchell to apologize for missing their date. Mitchell came and sat with her, Catherine, Samantha and Susanne. Holding Savanna's hand, getting food and drinks for everyone, answering phone calls so that the family could focus on getting Lawson the proper care and support.

The girls (Savanna's mom and sisters) approved of Mitchell and were extremely thankful for his support. They encouraged Savanna to take the date the following weekend. So Mitchell and Savanna' arranged another date.

That Friday, Mitchell picked Savanna up from her house, bringing flowers-plus a single yellow rose for the other girls. They went to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, a movie, and ice cream at the local dairy bar, Mitchell paid for everything refusing to let Savanna pay.

After Mitchell walked Savanna to the door holding her close, he stopped and asked if he could kiss her, Savanna said yes and they ended the night with a kiss. Dates continued and things got more serious. They would often go and have dinner at hotels and sleepover.

About 8 months into the relationship, Savanna realized she had missed her cycle. She bought a home pregnancy test and it was positive. After going to the doctor and having it confirmed that she was 10 weeks, Savanna thought she would surprise Mitchell with the news. Savanna got a onesie printed with "Baby Gardner Coming 2014" and one for Mitchell that said Daddy on it. Savanna thought Mitchell would be excited because they had talked about having children in the future.

They planned a weekend getaway, Mitchell said he had a surprise for Savanna, and Savanna said she did also. So the weekend came and they left for the mountains, along the way Savanna had to stop and was sick several times brushing it off as she was just car sick.

Once they arrived at the lodge and got to their room, Savanna said she was going to freshen up for dinner. Savanna wore a loose fitting, black and white dress; with black flats and pulled half of her hair back. Mitchell had on grey dress pants, a burgundy button down, a striped black, grey and white tie, a black sport coat, and black Oxfords.

Heading to dinner hand in hand, Savanna was excited to give Mitchell the shirts that were in her bag. When they arrived at the restaurant, the host sat them in the middle of the restaurant.
