Falling In Love

Savanna meet Derek the summer before Senior year of High School. Derek was older and was dreamy on many levels to Savanna. They seemed perfect to almost everyone. They loved each other and thought they would rule the world with that love. Derek had all Savanna thought she needed in life...a good job, a car, his own house, all that was missing in her mind was her with his last name.

Savanna went off to college and her and Derek continued their relationship. Going to see each other for weekend visits, facetiming throughout the week. All seemed right in her eyes. He came to see her one weekend and looked physically sick. Savanna concerned questioned him and what was wrong. He seemed to get better as the weekend progressed and Sunday took her on a picnic. While the sun was setting on their romantic date Derek slipped a ring onto Savanna's finger and asked her to be his wife...she said YES!!

Things seemed to return to normal until she came home for Winter break. Once home Savanna started to notice how busy Derek was, and he made many excuses as to why the could not spend time together. With some help from her sisters Savanna, Samantha and Susanne discovered the reasoning behind Derek's sudden change.

Savanna called Derek and arranged a meeting. Once together Savanna confronted Derek about the change in his behavior, he tried brushing it off but she knew the truth and was determined to get it out.

Turns out Derek had cheated while at a business party and gotten the woman pregnant. He was trying to figure out a way to tell Savanna and not break her heart for his mistakes.

Savanna forgave Derek and planned on living "happily ever after" with him. Well right before the planning season for their wedding, Derek ended things saying that he need to be a father and try and see if a relationship would work with the mother, breaking Savanna's heart.
