Chapter 8 The worms wriggled along my body in search of native soil. They left cold mucus on my skin as if the wet mud had spat them out precisely for this purpose. How many of them? Hundreds? It seemed that there were thousands... Exactly – they ate my disgust and bathed in my cold sweat, freezing from time to time to feel my shuddering.
