ANASTASIA "Diego?" I groaned out from my sleep, looking around to find my Alpha. The bed was empty. He was nowhere in the room. "Where is he?" I wondered to myself while sitting up, attending to my aching forehead. I was still feeling tired from last night's drama with Diego. But knowing my Alpha was nowhere near me, I couldn't sleep anymore. I can remember his conversation with the Beta. He didn't tell me exactly what they were talking about. It felt like Diego was trying to keep me out of his plan. "No, I'm just over thinking," I believed. "He's just trying to make sure things are in place. He's not keeping anything from me.
