Pandia's Pov:

I groaned as the sun shone brightly on my face through the small window in my room, I jolted my eyes opened when I remembered what day it was and I quickly sat up on my makeshift bed. The day I was waiting and yearning for years had finally come, it was finally my 16th birthday and I finally get to attend the banquet held for unmated wolves to find their mates. I stretched my hands up happily as I thought of how my mate would sweep me up on my feet and take me away with him, he'd be my knight in shining armor and I'd be his beloved princess.

" Happy birthday Pandia "

I was startled when I heard a voice in my mind,

" Don't be scared. It's me Lea, your wolf "

The voice quickly said to me which suddenly took away my fears, I felt warmth surged within me and it made me felt good.

" H ... hi "

I nervously whispered not knowing what else to say or do.

" Pandia I'm sorry for not being able to be with you all those years, I'm sorry you had to go through all that alone but now I'm here with you and we'll face everything together "

Lea who introduced herself to me as my wolf said to me and it made me smiled, I was no longer going to feel lonely as Lea was going to be with me throughout my life. All that happened to me I'll soon forget and live a happy life with my mate, I won't ever feel unwanted again and it made me felt enthusiastic. Thinking about all those happy thoughts had me invigorated as I smiled widely,

" It's okay you don't need to apologize, it wasn't your fault anyway I .. Ahhhh ... ahhh ... "

I started to scream out loud as I felt my bones breaking, it felt as if I was being ran over by a truck over and over again

" ahhhh ....it hurts! what's happening? "

Tears pooled in my eyes as I screamed out loud but as usual no one would ever come to my aid even if I was dying. I felt splitting pain in my head and my bones continued to break over and over

" Pandia breath, you're shifting "

Lea said to me in worry which made my eyes widened in horror, I wasn't supposed to shift yet. Wolves who come of age were to shift at the banquet, I started to panic as I felt something was wrong. This wasn't supposed to happen, I was to shift at the banquet with the other newly aged wolves before the party would start but here I was in the process of shifting and I didn't know what do

" How can I make it stop?! "

I yelled out more in pain and I asked Lea

" You can't, you need to go through with it "

She worriedly said back to me which made me panicked even more

" Pandia breath I'm here with you, you'll be just fine. Just relax and leave yourself to me, I'll take control from you for a minute. "

I nodded in understanding and took a deep breath as she said, I suddenly felt like I was pulled into an empty void world and I felt somehow unconscious but conscious at the same time

" I'll give you back control now "

Lea said to me and I felt as my consciousness was given back to me, I was surprised to see myself on paws and not on my knee like I was about a minute ago.

" How do you feel? "

Lea asked me and I felt her joy from her voice I looked down to my paws and stared stunned at my white furs, my fur was beautifully white and it gave me this longing feeling. I felt as if i've longed for this for a long time,

" I feel great! but how do I change back? "

I quickly asked her, I didn't want anyone to come see me like this because I was scared. They'd see me as abnormal as it wasn't yet time for my shift, I needed to avoid anyone seeing me like this at all cost.

" Just think of yourself in your human form "

Lea said to me as I and relaxed myself and did as she said, I was now back the way I was in human form but I was surprised to see my clothes intact. My clothes where intact even tho I shifted with them on, all werewolves took off their clothes before shifting because their clothes shreds if they don't take them off before shifting but mine didn't which shocked me. I was suddenly brought out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door, i quickly stood up and hurried to open the door. An Omega was standing impatiently as she continuously tapped her foot on the floor,

" I'm up "

She stared at me in disgust as I said to her, I silently followed her as she lead me out to the animal farm. The Omegas were allowed to order me around as I was told they were my superiors and I had to obey their every command,

" Clean all the animal shelters "

I looked at her in disbelief as she said that but as a lowly Omega I dared not disobey her, she walked away leaving me to do what she ordered. Even on my birthday they'd never leave me to rest

" What time am I going to finish all this, and what about school and my part-time?! "

I cursed underneath my breath as I stared at all the animal shelters I was to clean in anger, at this rate I won't be able to attend the banquet tonight. I knew to kiss school and part-time goodbye because there was no way I could finish cleaning up the animal shelters in time for school, so I hard to work non-stop if I wanted to attend tonight's banquet. I quickly changed my clothes and walked into the farm and started on with cleaning, I worked for hours without food nor water. I was finally done after hours but the day had started to come to an end, my stomach started to grumble informing me of how cruel I was to it for leaving it empty without food. I quickly changed back into my clothes and ran to the kitchen, I searched for my food at where it was usually left for me and I hurriedly ate my cold food. I washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen before I started to make my way back to my room, everywhere I passed by I saw some of the pack members dressed and ready to leave the for the banquet while others were also in the process of dressing.
