Pandia's Pov:

No! I don't need anyone in my life "

I said to her, suddenly the door was budged opened and an angry looking Maxwell walked in fuming in pure rage which made me quickly got up on my feet nervously and terrified.

" Where's she? And who are you?! "

I stared stunned and dumbfounded when he asked me such question.

" Why do you smell like Pandia? P ... Pandia? "

His gaze soften as he asked me confused and I stared back at him even more confused than he was

" We seem different "

Lea suddenly said to me

" Of course I'm Pandia! "

I said to Maxwell confused and he walked closer to me and stretched his hand to my face, I quickly took a step back which made him stopped and clenched his hand in a fist as he looked pained which made me felt bad. But I wasn't going to let him touch me, he rejected me already but yet he looked pained when I denied him my touch.

" What happened to your hair and your eyes? you look .... so different. Did you get your hair dyed and are those lense? "

He asked and which confused me because I had no clue what he was talking about, my hair was still left the way I tied it last night. I quickly untied my hair from the bun and it fall behind and to my surprise my hair was longer than it was last night and the color, my hair which was at the length of my shoulder was now at the length of my butt and the color wasn't black as it was just last night. My hair was white just like my wolf's fur which surprised me and I was scared not knowing how to explain myself, my shift was abnormal and now my hair had changed greatly. And yet still he talked about my eye color too, I needed to say something fast and something convincing because I didn't know how or what they'll do to me when they think of me as an abnormal wolf.

" Y .. yes, I ... need to go get my chores done and head to school "

I stuttered and he stared emotionlessly at me, suddenly I felt his rage surged up again and I started to pray for a painless death.

" Where did you sleep last night? "

He suddenly asked and I sighed and felt relieved to know it wasn't about my changes, I glared at him when his words finally settled in.

" What do you mean? I slept here as always "

I quickly answered back which made him frowned, he harshly grabbed my neck and slammed me to the wall which made me yelped in pain as I felt a rib break and I grunted in pain.

" Do you take me for a fool?! With whom did you spend the night with?! "

I stared at him in disbelief as he yelled at me in anger.

" I spent the night with no one, I was outside crying the whole night because of you! "

I yelled back at him which irritated him more, I started to struggle in his hand as he strangled me.

" I don't want to ever see you with any other man, you got that?! "

I nodded my head as tears brimmed in my eyes and I struggled to breath, he loosened up his hold on my neck and I started to pant hard. Before I knew it his lips were on mine and he started to kiss me with his tongue everywhere in my mouth, I felt disgusted and I bit him hard. He hissed and pulled away as I tasted the metallic taste of blood in my mouth, he glared angrily at me and I glared back not backing down. I wasn't going to give him the chance to use me after he rejected me mercilessly.

" Don't you touch me, I have nothing to do with you Alpha Maxwell so please don't do such things to me "

I said to him in disgust and pure rage making him stunned by my sudden words, infact I was also stunned by my own words as I didn't know where I got the courage from to say that to him.

" You're mine, you're my mate whether you like it or ... "

" Your rejected mate, Alpha Maxwell we've already gone through with the rejection so I advice you to start searching for your second chance "

I quickly corrected him which made his face darkened and he glared at me, he let go of my neck and walked out of my room in anger. I sloped down to the floor and let out my tears which were long threatening to come out, I was trying hard not to cry anymore but he had to just come and cause me to shed tears again.

" Our mate wants us but doesn't want us "

Lea said to me and I scoffed

" That doesn't matter because I want to have nothing doing with him "

I said back to her and brought up my knees as I hugged them, the pain I was trying my best to hide surfaced again and I cried my heart out.

For the past few weeks now I was given strange looks because of my changes now but I did my best not to call for suspicions on me as Maxwell had informed them that it was a dye. I didn't know why but now I always find myself at the temple I slept at the other night. I felt safer there so I started to visit there whenever I needed some space to cry or whenever I felt lonely, it was my secret hide out with no one to ruin my mood there or hurt me. As usual I closed from school and I decided to visit there before I head home, I shifted into my wolf and I ran on my paws to the temple tho I still didn't know which god's temple it was. I walked in to the altar and I was about to shift back to my human when I started to feel like I was being watched, my heart started to pound loud in my chest as i got terrified. I stared in horror as a seated sculpture suddenly moved a bit, I felt terrified but at the same time I felt relaxed and calmed as I stared at the sculpture dazed.
