Two months later...

"Garry my beautiful baby." Michael kissed the baby on his arms. As Arthur presented them to the crowd of people that came to witness this.

"It's been long overdue. Too bad it took me almost dying and getting married to a sea witch to realize that I had everything I needed right next to me. My everything. My husband. And my co-king. I love you Michael." Yet again he made Michael blush without even trying.

"I do not care about your opinions on the matter. All I wanted to address is that this man right here. This special gift that the gods have given me gave me a son. An heir. Your future king."

The people went silent. Listening to their king's words. None spoke anything.

Some had already accepted it. That this was how their kingdom would be now. It would be run by two kings. And that was that. But others were still stubborn stuck in the old ways as if they would help them move ahead in life. But nonetheless no one stopped the king's speech.

"I give you prince Garry the first." Some cheered while others did not. It was all fine. It was a normal reaction. Time would make things better. Michael knew that Garry would grow up in a time that was so much better than theirs. He already knew that his Garry would be one of rebellious nature. One who did not listen to the rules. Arthur intertwined his hand with Michael's. Kissing him right in front of everyone. This wasn't just an adoration kiss. This was a kiss of love. And the people weren't blinded this time.

Still one mother smirked more than the others. Mona Diya. The mother of the second king of Emerald. How good it was to be her now.

"It is true what they say. When you are blessed you're blessed." These now were her words to all the envious mothers. As always she was the mother of the best. The mother of a son who got all the right grades at school, the mother of the son who became best friends with the prince at only fifteen while others were busy praying for it to happen she had already been listened to. Her wishes were always listened to by the gods. Now she was a proud grandmother to the heir of the throne. Could anyone really get it better than this?

Michael was thrown on his and Arthur's bed. Both lovers having missed each other's touch. Even though they had done a little few things before the assembly.

Arthur hungrily devoured Michael's mouth as they both busily tore each other's clothing.

But before they could get anywhere they heard a knock on their door. "You better not be making more grandchildren there for me. I am fine with one. I am too young for anymore "

Michael did not like interruption when he was busy with his husband. "Mona leave us alone! Go take care of your grandson"

Mona gasped. "Did you just call me by my name?! Have you no respect anymore?"

"The drama of this woman" Arthur said ignoring his mother in law and continuing with what he was doing. "I think one more grandchild will solve her"

Michael laughed into a kiss.

This was love. Not an ordinary one to the people of Emerald. But it would be sooner or later.

Michael sucked Arthur's bottom lip. And then let go. Causing a whine to break free from Arthur. "Why are you teasing your husband?"

Michael wickedly smiled. "Arthur I love you"

Arthur kissed his lips again. "And I love you the most"

Michael's smile dropped. "Do you think she'll come back?"

Arthur knew that he was talking about Riya. He couldn't possibly say she wouldn't. Sea witches were unpredictable. And they tended to do what they wished so she might come back. But he'd be ready. To protect his family. "I will always protect you for many years to come. Even more. "

Michael sighed into Arthur's chest. He wouldn't mention to his husband that he was very capable of taking care of himself. He wouldn't want Arthur to start doubting himself again.
