SARA
Next day , I was walking when Jason stopped me. I sighed.
" What is it ?"
" Give me your hand." He said
I extended my right hand but he caught my left hand and placed a small box on it.
" What is it ?"
" Open and see it."
I opened the box and there was 'Fitbit'. I looked at him .... totally puzzled. He smiled as he removed the watch and put it on my wrist .
" Just because I am asking you to look after the matter on my behalf ...... doesn't mean I don't know what's going on in my cabinet."
I looked at her and she gave me her sweetest smile. Holding her hand , I said happily.
" It does suit you."
" Where is yours ?"
I raised my hand to show her that I too had one.
" I knew you won't buy it so I bought it for you."
" Shouldn't you give these gifts to your girlfriend ?" I asked smiling.
" Girlfriend ?"
" Giya."
I smiled shyly looking at her .
ETHAN
I was walking when I saw the Headgirl with Headboy. I stopped to look at what exactly they were doing. The Headboy takes out the watch and was putting at her wrist. Then he smiled shyly looking at her.
I continued walking...... I was in hallway when Daniel came over and said" Ethan , I got a good news for you. We found the guy who complained about you to the principal."
" Who is he ?"
" His name is Adam McGill."
I thought over it and came to a conclusion.
" Okay , let's deal with him in the break."
I went to attend my class.
SARA
My second class was library but rather then taking notes , I was busy going through the list which Omo gave me.
He said" Here's the list you asked for. The students who create trouble the most."
" Who's this ? Ethan Clifton ? He's number One in the list."
" He's the guy who was solely responsible for making the former Headgirl give up her post. He is the biggest bully in the school. He bullies people whenever he like and threaten us not to report it to principal."
" He's 99th in rank. What does his family do?" I asked.
" His family's company is among the leading company across the globe. Even though he's 99th in rank , his life would be set even if he doesn't study, right ?"
" Right." I relplied .
Suddenly a guy came over and said to Omo.
" Omo , do you mind leaving us alone ?" Pointing towards me and then towards him.
" Yeah . Sure. I'll see you later, Sara. Go through that list."
He went away leaving me and that guy alone.
KAI
I sat down in front of her and said extending my hand.
" Hi , I'm Kai Ralston."
Taking my hand, she replied " Sara Addington. "
" I actually came to you because I have a problem to report to you."
" Yes . Say . What is it ? "
" The problem is so big that I can hardly concentrate on my studies and also my interest has faded away in the usual things I do."
" Why ? Did somebody bullied you ?"
" No , not at all. But a girl just keep disturbing me day and night."
" Who is it ?"
" You !" Looking in her eyes.
" Me ?" She said being shocked.
" Yes. From the time you handled Harry's case, I've become a BIG fan of yours. I think about you all day long."
" That's not my problem. I'm just doing my work around the school."
" Yeah I know. But when I saw you for the first time, I knew it that you will change the current state of our school."
" Thank you for motivation . If you're done with your flirting then I'll be get going."
She got up from her chair and was going away but I stopped her.
" Sara !"
" Now, what happened?"
" It was my love . Don't call that flirting."
She turned but I caught her wrist and said as she faced me once again.
" Hey ! Just don't handle Ethan's case." I said seriously.
" Why ?"
" I'm not saying don't handle it . But tell someone else to do it like Omo or Zack or The Headboy himself."
" Who are you to give me the advice ?"
" What do you mean ? I'm your future boyfriend."
" What ?"
"Why ? You don't like me ?"
But she went away without replying .
ETHAN
When the lunch break came , I was ready to teach a lesson to Adam McGill. I , Daniel and Henry were searching for him and finally found him in the hallway near his locker. I went up him and tapped on his shoulder. As he turned around , I said loud enough to make everyone hear it.
" Adam McGill...... What did you think ? You will sneak away after reporting me to the principal. "
He said fearfully " I.... I didn't. "
" You didn't ? Do you take us as fools ? We know you did that . Who gave you this idea to go and report me to principal ? "
" I won't stand your bullying anymore."
" What did you say ?"
He didn't replied anything. I pushed him against the locker and said angrily.
" What did you say ? Say it louder !"
" Stop bothering me !"
I grinned and pushed harder against the locker . He stared in my eyes with anger and with all his strength punched me on my face. I was picked on my nerve. I touched my lower lip and saw blood on my fingers. I raised my fist to punch him.
SARA
I was notified on my fitbit about the Ethan's incident taking place in the hallway. I rushed over there and in the nick of time saved the guy being punched by Ethan. I holded Ethan's wrist and stared in his eyes with fiery.
He said with a grin .
" Headgirl ."
" Ethan , Enough with this bullying."
" Oh ! So you know me ."
Letting go of his hand , I replied.
" Yes. I know you. After all, you're the biggest bully here. You're on top when it comes to troublemakers around the school."
He chuckled and replied.
" I like people who do their homework when they come to meet me...... But I suggest you to mind your own business. "
" I'm doing that right now. So back off !"
" I guess you don't know what I'm capable of ?"
" I'm aware of it. Don't worry. I know you are the reason behind the former headgirl's withdrawal."
The guy in the left of Ethan said " So back off ! Back off when we are being nice to you."
" I can say the same thing to you. Back off .... otherwise I have to take you all to principal's office."
Ethan said " These warnings won't scare us , Headgirl."
" Then how about I turn my warnings into reality."
The guy standing on each side of Ethan started pulling him behind. And pretty soon Ethan was taken away by his friends.
JASON
I already got the news about Sara handling Ethan's case and I was very proud that she was able to handle such situations on her own. But soon ..... my happiness turned into a worry. I was in library when I heard a small group of students talking.
" Have you heard ? Sara warned Ethan."
" I wondered what will happen to her."
" I guess no one told her about the torture that former Headgirl has gone through while handling Ethan's case."
" She is in BIG trouble."
After school , while doing social work with Sara.
I asked " I heard that .."
She cut me off " That the Headgirl warned Ethan while he was bullying , right ?"
" Right . But look at you. Why are you so calm ? Don't you know what he did to former Headgirl ?"
" I do. But that won't stop me from doing my work. But I don't understand one thing."
" What ?"
" Why are YOU so scared ? Is Headboy afraid of being bullied ?"
" I'm not ! But what I am afraid of is..... that he will hurt you. I don't want that."
" You don't need to worry about me. I'll stay strong as long as you're beside me. "
I looked towards her and she gave me her cutest smile .
" You always melt my heart with that smile."
" That's why I do that ."
After finishing our work we were leaving when Sara said " What about my ice-cream treat ?"
I replied sadly " Sorry , Sara. But I'm going at Omo's place to study. Next time ! I promise !"
"Okay. See ya." She replied frowning.
While returning from Omo's place , I saw Giya at bus stop.
GIYA
I was standing at bus stop and waiting for bus. Today, I was very tired. My hands and legs were paining...... thanks to my part time job ! I heard a familiar voice " GIYA !" It was Jason and my heart fluttered looking at him.
" Hey . What's up ?"
" You are waiting for bus ?"
" Umm. Yes."
" Why don't you come with me ? I'll leave you home."
I looked towards him and then his car which was standing at the side.
I smiled and replied " No, Thank you. It's fine. You should go home."
His smile faded as I said those words. But he smiled and said happily.
" Nevermind. I'll wait with you."
He went to his car and said something to the driver which only meant he told his driver to go home.
" Jason ...... you don't have to wait with me."
" I don't mind doing that because........ because I like spending time with you."
I smiled shyly as I looked in another direction. Soon, the bus came and both of us found a spot to sit. I took the window seat while he was sitting on outside.
It was awkward ! Because both of us didn't said anything .... but just sat there silently. He offered me to listen to music with him through Headphone. I agreed for it. But I was too tired so I closed my eyes keeping my headphone in my ear.
JASON
It was a dream come true ! I was listening music with Giya through common headphone. My heart was racing......but as I looked at her. She was nodding in sleep, I quietly removed the headphone from her ear but her head directly fell on my shoulder. I silently put my arm around her shoulder giving a satisfied smile. She clutched my jacket's collar and I smiled shyly looking away. I removed my phone and took a photo of us. For memories....... after all , it is the starting of my love story.
