Remembering everything she learn and all the studying she did for this very moment, Dina Van Cleave takes her place as a defense attorney on the stand ready to defend her first client. Using everything she learned over the past week, Dina is able to scrape together an invaluable defense on Charly's behalf memorizing the cases she saw in the law books and the law school reports bringing up every detail while staying focused on not blowing her whole defense. The jury is moved, Not to mention amazed to see a defense attorney that cares so much about the final verdict being as fair as possible, Thus bringing more and more of the people amongest the jury onto their side much to Laura and the others relief. But now it's Laura's turn to take the stand as the officer to be involved in the overall case. With Laura's testimony, Dina surely thought the case was as good as ripe for the picking, And with this they would'nt have to worry about an unsympathetic jury with The Crossroads project on a defendant with nowhere left to turns side. However before Laura takes the stand Mick has his time in court as the officer on Teddy's side of the case. Mick argues that having a disorder like Charley does, And using it to justify a crime is a crime in it of itself. The jury stares silently as Mick walks away from the witness stand, Not knowing how to respound verdict-wise to his testimony. Seeing this, And remembering the chain of events that started this trial to begin with, Ready to take the first step to overcoming her past and ready to get The Crossroads Project green-lit.
