Talk At The Sweet Street

Finding Dina lost in thought eating ice cream at The Sweet Street candy shop, Chloe decides to talk strategy at the trial with her over parfaits and bottles of soda, with the sweet's maker, Grace Buttercream, watching over them.

Voicing a desire to start a law firm with a goal similar to Crossroads for all ages in which they can defend the sympathitic defendants and help them get their lives back in order, she mentions she may need a lawyer to help with the trials, and she noticed Dina's interest in pursuing law.

Still unresponsive, Chloe is able to get out of Dina that she overheard the conversation between Ellen & Laura, a talk that explained why Laura is so desperate to see Crossroads happen, She overheard them talking about an incident in which a young girl was charged with Manslaughter, because the game the law played at the time was fixed by the time she got out life as she knew it was over.

Moved by Laura's determination to see the first step to fixing a broken system be taken, Chloe & Dina resolve to win Charly Jefferies upcoming trial to see to it that The Crossroads Program be used in legal practice in the not so distant future.

Grace the sweets seller who listened in to the whole conversation tells them that she went through a challenge she was hardly perpared for (Twice), And the one thing she learned from those two Experiences is that the one thing a person can do thats fullproof is never give up.

Taking this to heart the girls pay the bill for the candy and drinks and go to Chloe's to go over their case one more time before the big day.
