MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 32

"Fe-lix..."

Felix slowly turning his head to look at the bed when his name was called. His eyes widened when he finally see Hedeliza have her eyes open.

"Hiede! You are awake!" Felix said almost yelling in happiness seeing Hedeliza with her open eyes.

"We-where is Li-zle?" Hedeliza asked and because she still have the tube in her mouth that helps her breathing her voice is low and almost whisper. She is still not gaining her strength back so that's understandable.

Felix gulped and glanced at the right side of Hedeliza's bed, there's his girlfriend, peacefully sleeping with a tube in her mouth and a dextrose in her arm and different apparatus helping her to live. Lizle was stabbed and shot in her back and thankfully the bullet and the laceration didn't hit an organ. Hedeliza followed Felix eyes and slowly turning her head.

The moment her eyes landed in Lizle's her tears comes out uninvited. 'Oh my God! Lizle, wake up!' she wanted to scream those words she have in her mind but she hasn't fully gain her strength yet. Felix walks towards Lizle and hold his girlfriend's hand but when he saw Hedeliza crying hard and panting, he panics.

"Oh gosh, Hiede, calm down! Hold on, I'll call your doctor to check on you, don't move, alright?" Felix said and panicking while pressing the buzzer to give signal to Hedeliza's doctor.

In a rush, the doctors came and run some check in Hedeliza's body. Felix take his phone out to call Raixen and tell him about the news.

Raixen's mind is mess. Who would come inside the Foster's house knowing that it's locked? Aside from that — that is exclusive, though they chose not to put new guard in there for the safety, still, that is exclusive. How come the house light is on at night? If that so, there's really is someone inside the house just like how he assumed because of what happened to Hedeliza and Lizle. Wherever or however he or she hide his or herself is crazy. They'd been searching and scanning the whole place and haven't seen any.

He just think that maybe, he or she already left the place but no.

Raixen walk closer to the house gate and he can really feel something terrifying. This isn't normal. The last time they went there inside, all of the Fosters things are still organized, no strange things and all. Whoever is there right now, he or she can see Raixen standing in front of the gate.

Raixen took his phone out from his pocket when it vibrated and Felix name showed up in the caller ID.

("Rex? Where are you?") Felix immediately said the moment he accepted the call and put his phone in his ear while his eyes are glued back to the Foster's house.

"Just somewhere," he said, simply.

("Hiede is awake,") Felix said that made Raixen turn his back from the house and hurriedly started his engine and drive all the way to the hospital. Raixen ended the call without saying anything.

They waited for the girls to wake up so they would know what happened. Only them can tell how was the mystery happened inside the Fosters home. Raixen not minding how fast his driving is — like always, so he can get there as soon as possible. He is still using Gio's car for his car that he usually use is still dented in the trunk and he hasn't had it fixed.

Raixen while running faster in the hospital's hallway is getting other people's attention and thank God, when he brought Hedeliza in here, the doctors and nurses knows what to do, they were able to hide Hedeliza's face and Raixen managed to cover himself.

The guards bow their head when Raixen came in front of the girl's room and let him in, he saw Felix talking to Hedeliza while Hiede's bed is reclined and she have her back leaning on it. The two of them, looked at the door when it opened and saw Raixen coming in. Hedeliza showed a smile to him and Raixen give his best friend a smile that she needed.

"Rex," Hedeliza said, whispering.

"How are you? How are you feeling? Can you feel pain or anything?" Raixen asked immediately. Smile is cracking in Hedeliza's face while Felix is trying to hold his laughter.

Seeing Raixen panicks like this, he couldn't just imagine how precious Raixen's possible reaction when they finally have the chance to see Shekinah. Raixen's been so serious everyday that he forgot what is the difference of the real and fake smile. He is showing a weak smile to Hedeliza. His eyes are guilty and Felix doesn't like that.

"I'm fine, I can't just feel my body that is why I asked the doctors to position me like this," Hedeliza answered in a very low tone. "I also asked to remove this tube and they'll just have to check my lungs if I can properly breath on my own," she added.

"I'm sorry for what happened, Hiede," Raixen said and the sincerity in his voice is too obvious. Hedeliza's quick change of expression in eyes just happened from smiling into a serious one.

"Look at Lizle, she maybe not yet awake but she's now safe, she fought to live because she know we loves her so much. I have seen her lying in the carpet bathed in her own blood, I was so afraid when she called my name and she puke a blood, that was terrifying. You have nothing to say sorry for me, Rex," Hedeliza said, struggling to loud her voice but she managed to finish her words enough for the people she was with heard her.

Raixen's tears came out in happiness and guilt. He understands every words his best friends said but he also made up his mind. They don't deserve to carry the burden of his problems. They have their own life to live.

The door opened widely and Hedeliza's parents came in. Raixen take a step back when Mrs. Tejares, run through Hedeliza and hug her daughter tight. Raixen gulped seeing how happy Hiede's mother now that she's awake.

Raixen glanced at the door and get out of here. His heart is heavy watching the crying parents. He knew he heard a words from Lizle and Hiede's parents not to blame himself, but he couldn't just help it. He loves Shekinah so much and he is so eager to find an evidence, a way to bring back Shekinah that he forgot that his best friends is also putting their lives in risk now that they are helping him. Because Shekinah really did in need of help now.

"Raixen."

Raixen look back when he heard his name and it's Hedeliza's father.

"Tito," he said and bowing his head.

"Any update about Shekinah?" Hedeliza's dad asked and Raixen shoke his head as an answer.

"I have already given the video to the NBI. I hope they can help me or at least just give an information or lead about Shekinah's location, I can do the rest," he said seriously.

"Don't put the world in your shoulder Raixen, you need help, you need back up," his tito replied. Raixen just nodded his head to not have to conversation long. Felix went out from the room and bos his head to Hedeliza's father.

"Can we excuse for a moment, tito? We will just have to take our meal. Do you want something?" Felix asked and Hiede's father just gave them a smile and said none.

Raixen followed Felix because now that Felix mentioned about meal, he realized that he hasn't eaten some meal today and he immediately can feel the hunger. What the heck.

They were about to enter the elevator when two person wearing the doctor's coat came out and bumped them.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Raixen and Felix said in unison, they bow down with the doctors while picking up their things scattered in the floor. The doctors just nodded their head and looked at them very quick and back to picking up their stuff.

But Raixen picked up an injection and his eyes narrowed of it has inside of it. The liquid is clear but there's this powder mixing the liquid that looks like a crystals. Raixen stops while Felix continues helping the doctors. Raixen stood up to look at the doctors walking towards Hedeliza and Lizle's room.

"Rex? What's wrong?" Felix said and glanced the injection Raixen's holding. He snatched and take a look at of it.

"They are not doctors," Raixen said and run fast to catch the women who are trying to walk fast.

"Don't let them in!" Felix said, shouted for the guard.

The fake doctors are too quick, they dropped the things they were holding and pulled their guns out from their coat and pointed in the room. However, before they were able to fire their guns, they fell down. The guard succored to the women and check their pulse.

"They're dead," the guard announced.

The door harshly opened and Mr. Tejares came out.

"What happened? What happened to the doctors?" he asked looking at the girls in a Doctor's coat, lying in the floor, lifeless. "Are they okay?" Mr. Tejares asked.

"They're dead, sir," the guard answered making Mr. Tejares's eyes narrowed in confusion.

"They are not Doctors, tito. We bumped them in the elevator and they brought strychnine in the injection, mixed in a liquid," Raixen said confusing Mr. Tejares even more.

"Strychnine? What is that? Is that ---"

"Poison, tito," Felix answered interrupting Mr. Tejares' words.

"What the f*ck! Search the area!" Mr. Tejares said in serious tone ordering the other security. "How can these woman enter the Hospital? Who shot them?"

"No one, they pulled out their guns and before they got the chance to pull the trigger they fell down. This is not new to us, tito. They were probably controlled and for them not to spill and not get caught, whoever is their boss, killed them," Raixen said while intently looking at the lying women. The Tejares' private army came in, the Tejares' head quarter will take responsibility of those woman.

"Don't let the authorities knows about this," Mr. Tejares said and all of them including the security nodded.

After knowing that they still haven't receive any updates about the investigation in Shekinah's case and the controversial post of Shekinah before she's gone, that made them not to trust the authorities anymore. Their family said to stay away from the authorities and still Raixen had to go to the NBI and hand them the evidence to see if they can trust them or not.

All of them have a thought in mind why but they all chose not to speak it. In this case, they have to work by their own resources and that is illegal that is why they are making sure that everything they do, won't let the authority know about it.

Raixen is giving a hint to Mr. NBI officer they will see about it.

His mom once said, if the person you thought can help you is not effective anymore, there is something in them.

Felix exhale and lean his back in the railing while watching the armies carrying the two stretchers with dead bodies on it into the rooftop of this hospital where the chopper is waiting to bring the body into the Tejare's head quarter. They can't bring those bodies out of the exit and the armies are the one's bringing, that is catchy.

"Thank you for being attentive," Mr. Tejares said to Raixen and Felix. He tapped the shoulder of the two and they both nodded in unison.

"We need to tighten the security of the hospital---" Felix said but Mr. Tejares cut him off.

"We are bringing Hiede and Lizle in the Gregor's."

Raixen eyes widened of what he just heard. His mom didn't said a thing to him about transferring Lizle and Hedeliza in their home.

"Tito, I don't think that's a good idea. The security -----"

"Among all of us, your home has the best security," Mr. Tejares said.

"What?" Raixen asked because clearly he doesn't have a single idea about that. All of them, Lizle, Hiede, Felix, Shekinah and him, they all knew that the home with the best security is the Tejares. How come that it's their home?

"Tito, I think it would be safe if we'll put them in your home," Felix said and Raixen agreed.

"Everyone think of that, everyone thought it's our home that is now by this moment, the enemy is studying all the security installed in my home and no one knows how tight the security of the Gregors is. Your mom is the genius here, Raixen."
