"Jules".Mrs Waters called."I have run out of potatoes for the hash browns,and. I know what a healthy appetite you guys have,can you run to the grocery store and get some more potatoes?

"Ok....,I'm almost done chooping this onions".Jules replied.

"Oh no,don't worry.I will finish chopping them,you just run along and get me those potatoes".

"okay,if you say so"Jules said picking the money up from the tabletop..

"Jules".Someone called from behind startling her and making her upset the neatly stacked potatoes. Onthe rack.

"0sorry,I didn't mean to startle you".Ronald said helping her to pick them up.

"I know you didn't".Jules replied.

"I haven't seen you around in a while".Ronald commented,standing up and dusting his hands on his jeaans.

"You saw me four days ago"

"Ohh,I forgot"

"I understand"

"So,I was wondering if you are doing anything Friday night"

"I don't know yet"Jules answered.

"oh.....can I have your number?".

"Sure".

"Thanks a lot".

"you are welcome Jules answered.

"Guys,you wouldn't believe who asked me out again yesterday".Jules said as she sat down at their lunch table.

"Who?"Terry asked..

"Ron".

"Geez,why don't you give him a chance?This is the third time you are turning him down".Tina said..

"I can't have a boyfriend yet,I'm reading for exams"Jules replied.

"Nobody said you should become his girlfriend"Katie said picking at her food."All we are saying is that the next time he asks you to hangout with him,do it".

"Ok,but only because of you guys".

Grrrriing. Grrrriiing

"Hey mum".Jules called into the receiver as she picked up the phone.

"How is my baby doing?"Mrs Cancaster asked.

"She's doing fine".

"Okay-sorry I haven't called you in a long time,I hope you are reading hard for SATs?".

"Yes I am".

"How many more weeks till SATs?"

"Three and a half,how is Dad and the business?"

"Your Dad is fine mdd business is doing great.I spoke with Tina's mum and she only had good things to say about you".

"Yeah"Jules replied with a slight chuckle."That's because I'm a good girl at heart".

"I know and I miss you".

"I miss you too mum and I can't wait for you to get back.We have a lot of catching up to do"..

"- love you Jules".Mrs Cancaster said and hung up.

"Me too" Jules called staring at her phone..

Once everyone had settled down,Jules started handing back the practice tests everyone had taken a few days earlier.This was the fourth test they had taken and by and by,everyone seemed to be improving.The room was filled with less tension when compared to the first practice test they had taken.

"Listen up everyone".Jules called from the front of the classroom."Today,we are going to work on time management.As we all know,SATs is a three hour exam that is used by most colleges to determine which students would be admitted and more to the point,which would be rejected"

"We do" some students chorused .

"Time management is essential in this exam,I would advise you guys to tackle the uestions tou know first and skip the ones you don't know.Once you are sure you have answered everything you know,you can now start answering the ones you skipped..I would also advvise everybody to wear a wristwatch to the exam hall just so you can time yourself".

"Does anyone have any questions?".

"No".someone in the room answered for everyone.

"Okay,nextweek,we are going to have our final practice tests.It would be exactly like SATs,you know, with proctors and all.It would be for three hours too just so everybody can get a feel of SATs".

"When is it?"Nathan asked from the back..

"It would be on Friday and we would get our results on Monday.Every student is taking the test including me".

"That's good to know"Ravi said and a couple of students laughed.

"before we begin on our spellings,let's play a game of trivial pursuit".Sheila one of Jules students suggested.

"Sure" Jules answered."If its okay with everyone".
