THE FINANCE department shared the first floor with the Analysis department, only secluded in glass-enclosed offices towards the far end of the floor, away from both staircases leading upwards to the second floor and downwards to the ground floor.
Dominated mostly by grim-faced males and a trickle amount of females distributed evenly in the three offices, the department was usually sober, except for one office.
