Two hours later, Kylie and I were standing downstairs, taking pictures before we had to head out. Soon after, Gina and scarlet joined us and before we knew it, a lot of friends and pack members living in pack house joined, including Ben and Tony. Luna did the favor of taking the pictures. She took tons of pictures.

It was fun initially, but soon started getting overwhelming. Gina pulled Kylie and scarlet and I, out of the door, to the car. It was really crazy in there.

“Aren’t we going shopping and getting dolled up for the party tonight?,” asked Gina, looking at all three of us.

I rolled my eyes at her, “ I don’t have any money,” I replied.

“That’s not an issue, a**hole!,” said scarlet, looking right at me.

I hopped into the backseat, with Kylie. While scarlet climbed into the the passenger’s seat, and Gina drove us. We all sang along to the radio, shaking our bodies the best we could while sitting. We arrived at the mall, i tried on outfit after outfit. Gina and scarlet rated each one as they seemed to be enjoying themselves. They encouraged me to pick a lot of mini skirts, crop tops and tight dresses. They all complimented my body when I wore the tight dress I chose, they said I had great butts, even though it wasn’t as huge as theirs. To be honest, I loved the clothes they chose for me. We hurried back home, cause we were already late for the party. Next they showed me what makeup to wear and styled my hair for me. When I saw myself at the mirror, my jaw dropped.

I wore a mini pleated purple skirt, pink long sleeve crop top and high heeled purple ankle boots. I had red lips and cat eyeliner and black contact lens. My face glowed and I let down my blonde curls, to my waist level. The mini pleated skirt wasn’t just short but also tight and elastic, causing the movement of my butts obvious as I walked. Gina, scarlet and Kylie all dressed in white. Trust me, they were ten times hotter than I was.

The evening started with a compulsory dinner, which gathered every member of the pack in the dining hall. Alpha Leo stark addressed every one. “Good evening, night moon pack!,” he said, cheering everyone, and lifting up his tumbler, half filled with wine as a toast.

“Good evening alpha!,” we all replied happily, lifting up our tumblers in reciprocation.

“This evening starts a new beginning in the Night moon pack. Tonight my sons, Tony and Ben, take over the night moon pack, as the celebration of their eighteenth birthday has commenced. We pray that the spirits of the past alphas will guard their hearts towards true leadership, and may the goddess help them find their mate.”

With this, a beautiful smile showed on his face, as we couldn’t help but return it. It was indeed an emotional moment. Everyone stood on their feet and clapped for a minute.

“You can sit,” said luna “and get ready because it will soon be party time!.”

Everyone reacted happily to what she said. The joy in the air was really contagious. We haven’t even finished eating when the DJ gave us a little interlude. Everyone forgot the food left in their plates. It was time to party. I wasn’t surprised to see Tony and Gina dancing like there was no tomorrow at one end. Ben as a lover boy held hands with scarlet as the strolled outside into the darkness. Kylie sat with her brother, Kim, at one end. The light went off and the disco light went on. Everyone seemed to be having the time of their life. I was left alone at one end shaking my body the best I could, trust me, I wasn’t a good dancer at all.

In my loneliness, my mind kept telling me that my mate was closer. I couldn’t comprehend the thought of my mate bumping into me tonight, so I tried pushing the thoughts away.

It wasn’t long Kylie walked up to me, “ my brother asked me to come talk to you, he wants to know if you would love to give the dance floor a try,” She said. “Sure,” I replied.

Was he my mate?, I thought to myself. I never knew I was so lonely, until I had this dance. I understood what it meant for someone to “rock you dry.” Kim was so good, his hands was just all over me. The part that made me wanna sq***t, was when he began whispering stuffs in my ear. Kylie’s brother was just too good. At a point I had to quit, if not, I might end up doing something I would surely regret in the future.

It was about 11pm, the pack house was sill on fire.

I haven’t been upstairs in a while, in fact, ever since my birthday, I haven’t even climbed the stairs. The pack house had three floors. I stayed in a guest room downstairs. The twins slept in the middle floor, while alpha and Luna, slept in the highest floor. I wasn’t allowed to go upstairs, except I’m being asked to. In the spirit of the night, I tiptoed upstairs quietly.

I stood in awe for a long time. I couldn’t comprehend what I was perceiving. Surely, it was the most mouth watering fragrance ever. I snuck into Ben’s room, his room literally smelled like a mixture of vanilla orchid and blooming roses. I searched around to know if he bought some flowers, but I couldn’t find any. I snuck out of his room and went to Tony’s room. The moment I opened the door, I was taken aback by the enticing aroma I sniffed. It was the scent of fresh citrus grooves. My heart started to race, why am I just picking up this scent for the first time. I refused to think about it.

It was strange I had never noticed them before, especially since I have been living in this pack house for years. Could it be that something has changed?. I did not want to analyze it much. I tried my best to avoid eye contact with both of them, as I went downstairs. I knew I was in a big trouble. How could fate be so cruel?.

I went into my room and shut the door. I tried to get some sleep but kept turning and tossing around. How can I be mated with those wicked bast*rds?. I know they will reject me outright too.

I jumped off the bed, gathered all my belongings, snuck out the pack house quietly and ran home.
