Meanwhile, Gerald sat down on the sofa with a sad frown on his face. It has been two weeks now and she was still missing
"Where would she have gone to? What might have happened to her?" The thoughts kept on ringing in his head.
He heard footsteps and he turned around to see who it was. It was Bella.
She made her always remember him, the look on her face, her hair. They were perfect look alikes apart from the figure and their Faces.
He could see the tears written all over her eyes as she walked gradually towards him.
Fresh tears poured down from her eyes and the scent of it was rising to his nose. He hated it so much because it made him remember her, leaving him heartbroken right from the inside of him and he hates the feeling so much that be could tears apart whoever it was that was giving him that feel right into a million pieces
"What do you want? I thought I told everyone to leave me alone and that I needed to be left alone. So what are you doing here?" He inquired.
But she ignored his Inquiries. Knowing that he was nothing but hurt.
"It's been two weeks since she went missing and still, there is no trace of her. I don't think that she is ever going to return." She said but the Words got him so angry that he almost forgot that he was talking with the grandmother of his mate and he tried as hard as he could to restrain himself.
"Don't say that. She is going to come back to me and I am going to make sure that I do everything in my power to make sure that I get her." He said in a half yell.
She paused for a while. It seemed as though he was scared to say what he was about to say to her.
She sighed briefly.
"I don't know how to say this but I just have to say it. It might break you even more but.." she wanted to say but did realize when more tears poured down from her eyes.
His eyebrow raised as he thought about what could break him even more than he already was but he could not think of anything that could make Cohen so potent.
"I am the Alpha and nothing can ever break me. So you better say what you want to say." He noted.
He stared at her for a while. She was afraid to say but finally, she opened her mouth to say whatever it was that she wanted to say.
"The reason that she left that day instead of the day that she had informed you initially was because she was too excited and she wanted to say it to you as soon as possible." She explained.
But he could not get a word of what she was trying to say to him.
"And what was that?" He Inquired.
"She was pregnant." She noted as fresh tears poured down from her eyes and he seemed to be broken right from the inside.
There was a hot sensation in his blood, forcing what had never been heard of before.
But he was able to push it back. She could not notice anyone.
What they had waited for all those years finally came. He could feel his wolf growling and kicking inside of him because the pain from the mate bond was just way too much but he was able to subdue it.
"No! It can't happen. I will have to find her." He yelled out from the top of his voice and got up to leave. To go for his beta. Xander.
But before the Alpha could get to the door and part it open. He was about to go for his beta but he was already walking toward him From the looks on his face, something was a miss but he could not tell what exactly it was.
"Tell me that you found her because she is my child. You can't allow anything to happen to her or I am going to make sure that you are beheaded. Right before everyone in the pack." I assured him but he only bowed his head for a while before looking up to me.
He raised his head slowly at me and he signed.
"I am sorry Alpha Gerald but." He wanted to say but there was a sudden pause.
"But what?" Alpha Gulther yelled at him.
But he did not say anything again. He raised a piece of cloth slowly up to his face and it was the shirt that he bought for her and her twentieth year birthday. Her phone and her wristwatch. But what was he doing with all of that?
"We found this on the river bank. I think.." he noted.
Alpha Gerald crashed on the sofa and supported his head with the back of his palms.
"No!!!" Be yelled at the top of his voice with his heart beating hard against his chest as though they were going to burst through.
"Everyone leave, right this moment." He ordered and without saying anything, everyone Walked away from the place.
While he sat on the sofa, he heard the sound of someone walking into the place and a growl formed on his.
"Who could have had the guts to flaunt my order?" He thought.
Then he perceived the mate's scent and he almost limped out of his seat, only to discover that it was another person than Helena.
"I heard about it." She noted sobbing. "And I am sorry about it."
Six months later
That was about six months ago when the wounds were still fresh in his heart.
"Alpha Gerald, you Cannot keep on doing this to yourself. You are the Alpha and you need a Luna by your side. And we are mates, Alpha Gerald." He heard Helena saying but he was barely listening to her
"You can never replace her, get that into your head." He frowned.
"What if this is the reason that I was mated to you Alpha Gerald? And I love you and I am going to give you the heir." She wanted to say but he would not allow her to complete her statement
"That would be just enough for you already. I am still the Alpha and I order you right now to leave."
She knew that she could not disobey and she walked away slowly.
She saw Bella walking towards his room and she brushed past with so much anger. A bitter Alpha was not what she planned for.
Bella Walked in and stared at Gerald.
"What do you want again? me?" He inquired.
"I miss her too but I think she is right and you should look for someone better. The Moon Goddess is going to bless you, knowing well that you loved my granddaughter so much. And if what she is saying about being your mate is true, then you should go on and accept her." She mumbled out her advice and did not even realize when tears escaped from her eyes.
