Elara’s POV When I woke up, the first thing I felt was dying of thirst. My throat felt like it had been rubbed with sandpaper. Then came the headache. It was a heavy, dull pain pounding between my forehead and the back of my head. I groaned and tried to open my eyes. The light was soft, shining through the cracks of the heavy curtains. I was lying in a huge, soft bed, covered by a light down comforter. The room was big. The style was simple and modern, mostly white and light gray. It felt very business-like.
