I was staring into his eyes. Those red eyes no longer scared me. Alpha Renard cupped my face with his other hand, caressing my cheek. I closed my eyes, savouring the way his touch felt on my skin. "There is nothing that I could tell you to justify my behaviour with you. I was angry at my fate and I took it all on you. Dominating you made me feel powerful." Alpha Renard whispered softly and I opened my eyes.
He pulled me back to his chest almost instantly. "Get some sleep! You can fight, curse and resent me in the morning." Alpha Renard whispered softly in my ear, stroking my head gently. As if that's what my body had been craving, I started melting in his arms almost instantly.
