I poured out all my pent-up grievances, breaking down into heart-wrenching sobs. I couldn't forget the pain of lying on the floor, blood gushing out of me, or the pain of seeing him walk past my lifeless body with Quinn. It all hurt so, so much. "I'm sorry," Graham crawled over the broken glass and tried to embrace me. "It's all my fault. Let's start over, okay? I won't hurt you ever again." I wiped away my tears. "I'm dead, dead for two months now. How can we start over?" Graham replied urgently, "We can. I asked, and they said that God can help you come back. That's why you're here as a soul, isn't it?" No, it wasn't because of some so-called divine power that my soul lingered. It was because of my attachments. When people die with unresolved issues, their souls remain in this world.
