Eden’s main concern was that Zero would choose tonight to stop by, instead of staying away as he’d been doing the last couple of days. She had no doubt that he would make good on his threat to make her stay still no matter what the tactics, and if he succeeded, she could kiss her ticket out of this makeshift jail goodbye.
All she needed was for him to stay away for one more night. She didn’t know why he was staying away - maybe he was avoiding her after all the trouble she’d been? Or maybe his employer had needed him for something else and called him away. She still had yet to determine if he really worked for DaleCorp or not, but she had found a few pictures on social media of the senior executive in Alexandria. If nothing else, he definitely rolled with a private protection detail.
