Lance's POV
I jumped down after my shock wore off, I followed the figure I was sure was my father's Beta, he ran quickly and I joined him. I loved racing, it took my mind off things, and I am naturally fast.
He sped up and I did the same, I could feel Raphael follow me behind, and we ran after the Beta.
He swerved to the right and I paused abruptly, making Raphael bump into me.
"What's wrong, we need to go after him," He said and I hushed him.
"If he swerved right, and we followed him, we'd lose him, he is running fast because he knows someone is after him, we'll take left and get him, we won't catch him, but I need to see who he is talking to," I said and Raphael nodded.
"And we need to watch out back too, it might be a trap," Raphael said and I nodded.
