I don't know how I kept myself calm, my inner wolf wasn't calm in any way, it kept jumping up and down, prancing around, I swallowed as I faced my father who raised an eyebrow expecting an answer from us, this was harder than any situation I've ever been in.
"I'm asking a question," My father said, his voice laced with venom, Raphael swallowed looking at me, we both racked our brains thinking of what to say, but I couldn't remember why I gave him the book and held one too.
"Alpha, I've checked it out," I stared at the Beta when he walked in, and I thought about how much worse our situation will be right now, with the sneering Beta coming here.
