I got ready, picking just five clothes, in the small backpack I had, I didn't want it to be obvious that I was leaving somewhere, so I made sure they were no watchful eyes, even Maria, I didn't want her to know what I was up to, as much as she's been a friend to me, I didn't want her to find out about it, I wasn't sure if she would keep my secret, she wasn't like Aidan to Raul, from what I knew, Aidan knew about Raul a little and he kept his secret, Maria didn't know about my wish to leave the pack, she also didn't know that right now, I felt like killing the Alpha, I knew I could somehow trust her, yet I didn't want her face the consequences of what the truth would hold.
