Anyway…back to telling you about our lives. Oscar has taken after Leo regarding his interests. I’m happy working with the women, gathering food, preparing and cooking it, creating our clothing, baskets (woven and clay), etc., all of which aligns, at least somewhat, with the pursuits I indulged in back in modern times.
But Oscar loves hunting and the training that keeps our men in top physical condition and ready to handle big game hunts and protect our living space from large predators and potential invaders. We thankfully haven’t faced any kind of invasion yet in our time here, but we’ve learned it has happened in the past, so perhaps it will again in our lifetime. Or maybe since we’re near the west coast and the Native American migration is eastward, that won’t be an ongoing concern? Bu
