I pulled up to my house, I noticed a police car parked outside. My heart began to race as I wondered what was going on. I parked my car and walked over to where the officer was waiting for me.
"Hello, Aina. My name is Officer Lorenzo. May I ask you a few questions?" he said in a calm tone.
I nodded hesitantly, trying to hide my nerves. "Sure, Officer. What can I help you with?"
