My soul was calling onto his

~Amaya~ The wind kept slapping against my skin as I ran through the forest and this feeling never gets old I like how free it makes me feel more than anything It's liberating. Yeah if I put it that way and this always manages to calm me down. Yeah I'm not a trouble maker or anything just the opposite. "Amaya" I feel my father yell in my mind and opps! Guess I am in trouble. Okay so maybe I said I'm not a trouble maker but maybe a little. Come one you can't hold that against a girl right. "Sorry dad." I let out before closing up the link and focussed on letting loose. I loved this running through the trees feeling the wind slapping against my skin with its cool breeze and the stars shining above. A perfection. One I discovered in my younger rebellious years okay I'm still in those years. But otherwise I'd go insane in that castle that my father has me locked up all the time and being followed everywhere, no privacy whatsoever. That's no life I want. So yes I'm not proud of it but my rebellious self emerged after all this torture. Its not exactly torture par se but you get my point. It's very difficult being the daughter of a king let alone a hybrid at that, very possessive creatures and way overprotective. I thank heavens I'm not an only child otherwise it'd even be worse. But my brother well let's just say he's not this much limited and he likes the attention and fits in well while I don't. As I cross through my nose catches a shift of blood in the air and I abruptly make a half and assess my surrounding . I didn't want to be running into danger. The smell seemed faint and was coming from my west. The curious part of me wanted to follow and know what's happening but the rational part of my brain refused. But amidst it I caught a scent that was mixed with the blood and it was alluring. I immediately knew what it was. Mate. They were near and probably injured. I wasn't looking forward to this. Having a mate. Another fight was about to emerge in my mind but I put a stop to it and decided to have a go at it later before I followed the scent and after a few minutes I could see a body. No one else was around but I could catch distinctive smells. I walked slowly looking around but I could tell there was no one nearby and the lingering smells were fading. It had probably been a while since they were last here. Well it was a boy and he was dying if not dead. This thought sent my heart in a frenzy turmoil and a sharp pain radiated from within. Wait I didn't know him so why was I feeling like this. Because he's your mate, the voice's started once again and once more I put a stop to it. I was so glad Liya was having one of her heavy slumbers otherwise it'd be worse. I slouched next to him he was small, too small in body size not height he barely had any meat. I turned him a bit and tried feeling for his pause. His heart was beating too slow if I wasn't a hybrid myself I'd have missed it and thought he was dead. My soul was calling onto his and I couldn't leave him here for dead before that I needed to act fast and so I did. Bit onto my palm before squeezing some blood from my had and tried to open his mouth so that the blood could drain down his throat. After I clamped my had down his mouth I started massaging his throat so that the blood could go down. I just hoped it'd be enough for the moment. After which I carried him in my back. He really weighed nothing. Who's this guy and why was he starving himself. I ran back to my fathers lands as I was in the neutral lands and dashed towards a house near the lake. A cabin more like my brother owned it we would always come here whenever he felt overwhelmed or site seeing and he knew how much I thrived in any moment out of that castle no matter how many minutes it was or for what purpose. I walked in and settled the guy in my bed before looking at him. Like really looking. He didnt have any shirt on and I could see the many scars on his upper body. Going down he had a short that was torn and was too dirty. Being a rogue wasn't easy but I could tell his life was way worse. I had caught a smell of him being a rogue which is why I didnt take him to my father and I also wasn't sure if I was ready to have a mate. I let out a sigh as I raked my head on what to do. I didn't know what to do I let out a deep breath before letting my links open but not to say anything just in case my dad wanted to rage once more. But nothing was said. After a while I decided to talk to my only confidant. "Ash" I called onto him. "May, where are you dad is quite angry." His voice came in and I let out a sigh. "What's it." I guess he had my sigh of distress. "Ash I need your help, I'm at the cabin could you come and bring some clothes with you, mine and some males as well as a first aid kit." I told him and he let out a sigh. "I'm guessing no one is supposed to know." He asked. "Yeah." I knew he had questions but I knew he wouldn't push he'd just get here then assess the situation then ask. "I'll be there in a few." After that the conversation died and I walked back to the mystery guy, felt his pause and I was glad his heart beat had increased by a tad bit, not too much but it had. I walked back to the kitchen its been a while since we were last here so I dont know if there's food in there I looked through the fridge and well nothing here was edible. It just had some fruits and drinks I guess they would do now. I walked back to my room before I walked towards the bathroom and prepared a birth. I knew Ash would be here any moment and well he would be taking care of the male. In the back of my mind I knew he was my male and I knew I was in denial but I tried to revel in it now before Liya wakes up and things get even more complicated. "May" I heard Ash call from the front door. "In my room." I shot back and then I heard his growl I knew he caught the smell of a rogue. "Easy." I cooed as he walked through my door in haste and took on a fighting stance before he relaxed after seeing no threat then he looked at me then to the man with a confused look. "I found him in one of my runs in the neutral lands and before you say anything I didnt have a choice, I had to bring him, Ash he's my mate." I said looking at my brother and then looked away immediately I couldn't stand him giving me the pity looks or any other look. But before I knew it I was in his arms. "We'll find a way May." I wrapped my hands around him too. "Thanks Ash." After a while I pulled back. "Could you take care of his cleaning please, I'll do the rest its just that I dont..." I rambled out before he cut me off "Its okay May, I'lldo it." He said and let out a chuckle. And I glared to which he continued to chuckle and I couldn't help myself before I too smiled at him. Ash was the only one who thought I wasn't weird when I said I wasn't looking forward to having a mate, and I was so glad for this fact. He was my only confidant, my best friend. I also had Collete but she was just an acquaintance not really a best friend. Ash approached the guy and when he lifted him up he had a horrified expression and I knew why. For a six foot something guy he weighed nothing, I was even heavier than him in my 5'5 height and lean body. He had a child's weight with him. Not more than a ten year old. I just let out a sigh before walking to the bag that Ash had dropped in his haste and rummaged through to get my clothes. Before I walked out and went to the other bathroom preferring to use one in Ashton's room since it's closer to my room. ... After the shower and dressing I found out ash had brought some food with him and I was so glad and ended up preparing some soup and garlic bread. I left the soup cooling and walked to my room Ash had already cleaned the guy up and only patching his wounds was left. "He's led a life full of torture if not crime." ,,,, ,,,, ,,,,
