A massive shudder went through the entire airship, and a few moments later András tore open the trapdoor.
“These are for you. Winter togs. Put them on and come with me.” He threw a bundle of clothes down the hatch and disappeared.
By the time Ben was sitting up and rubbing his eyes, Maya was already sorting through the pile. She found a fur coat with a fleece collar, a sheepskin hat, and a pair of lined boots. Everything was a little large for her, but she didn’t care. She had to stuff some pieces of rag into the boots, but eventually stood up, quite satisfied. She looked like an Inuit girl dressed in her bigger brother’s hand-me-downs, but her eyes sparkled cheerfully.
“They’re nice and warm. Get dressed, sleepyhead!” She held out a hooded coat and a pair of black snow boot
