After having a late breakfast, Steel spent the rest of the morning at the internet café checking the news headlines of the New York Times webpage. He had read of the tragic deaths of Donald Major, the suicides of a woman in a hotel who was yet to be named and Bill Foster, who had taken his own life at work in the Cartwright Global building. His eyebrow rose as he read another day’s column about the tragic accident, Tragedy as dock worker John Barr falls to his death. He worked the mouse furiously, searching for more Accidents. Steel soon found it when he spied a page telling of the mugging gone wrong and the shooting of Karen Greene.
