FOURTEEN The next morning, as the sun cast a pleasing burnt orange glow across the city skyline, McCall made her way to the electrical company where Donald Major had worked. The multi-story building’s white walls were turned a fiery orange as they caught the new day’s sun. The structure had a newness about it, large glass windows housed in large concrete plate walls encased by walls of small bushes and silver birches.
