Chapter 9“Okay. I guess this seems safe enough, go ahead.” “There’s no need to be nervous, I can put fires out as well as start them.” “Yeah, you said. Just do it.” Kelwyn held his arm out. The pair were standing on Harun’s balcony. It was just after sunset, on a clear, cold night. Harun was dressed warmly, with a heavy coat over his tunic. Kelwyn wasn’t bothering, he didn’t really feel the cold anymore. So his arm was bare, since he was only wearing an ordinary tunic. Harun held out his own hand, and a tiny tongue of flame sprang to life over it. He reached to Kelwyn, who held still, holding his breath, though that was easy for him now.
