Chapter 12“I really like this one.” Kelwyn looked around the parlor of the empty house, where the seller had left them alone for a moment. He and Harun had been house-hunting since their official retirement from the Queen’s Own. The Eternal Queen had readily granted their request, though she had also reminded them both, warmly, that once one of her Own, always one of her Own, and though she would be happy to let them retire to be together, she considered them both to be her dear friends still.
Now they were viewing yet another house on the outskirts of the Tower City, with an eye to settling down near to friends, but no longer within the Tower itself.
