The onyx ark opened up with my blood. What does that mean? Is it good? Is it bad? I am so confused that it’s taking me a minute to react to what’s happening around us.
“It is open,” Asteria said, and I nodded. She took my hand and led the way back to the ark.
I opened it, and several items were inside. I closed my eyes, and I felt something calling to me from within the ark.
I looked at Asteria, and she smiled. “We need to start searching,” she said, and I nodded. I was afraid of sticking my hands in the ark, maybe finding something I wasn’t ready to see or handle.
