When I heard what had happened to Zane, I was intrigued, but when Uncle Max called me and explained, I was more than ready to go to war with a f*****g deity.. No one, and I mean it, not f*****g one, should tamper with a fated mate bond; everyone knows it. Here in the supernatural dimension, but in the heavenly one, where our gods reside... It is the most sacred thing one can harbor, and like so, it should be respected.

"Iris, what do you say?" I asked her, and she nodded.
"I´m in if you are..." she said, and I nodded.
"My demon is eager to teach that bastard a lesson," I said, and she sighed.
"Don´t take unnecessary risks..." she sighed, and I nodded. I was not a fool; I had a family and a realm to protect.
