Zane
Asteria wanted me to take her home, and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I looked at Asteria, and I could see dark circles under her eyes. I could see how all of this was taking a toll on her, and it was killing me.
I had been so stupid, I shouldn't have marked her, I shouldn't have made her mine... Linking our bodies, linking our souls, sealed her destiny to mine. Her fate to mine, and my fate was this, most likely ending in darkness. I have condemned her, my love has condemned her.
My eyes locked with hers, and for the first time, I saw it; she was losing herself to give way to my darkness...and I couldn´t bear it. It was as if i big boulder started crushing me. "Zane," she whispered, and I took a step back.
